Thayer, Mo. –On September 8, 2023, the Thayer Bobcats went up against the Liberty Eagles at Louis Bozman Field in Thayer, Missouri. The Bobcats marching band and cheerleaders, or Pomcats, performed at halftime, much to the enjoyment of the crowd.
Band
The marching band is working on perfecting their music played at every home game. Wearing the matching Bobcat green shirts and jeans, they played three songs during halftime, while marching in prearranged patterns. The crowd cheered at the playing of the Thayer School song.
Pomcats
The Pomcats also performed at halftime, along with kids from sixth grade and under who are aspiring to be future Pomcats. The whole group did choreography to a song. Also wearing matching grey bobcat shirts, these adorable children stole the halftime show in trying to keep pace with the older, experienced cheerleaders.
We look forward to seeing more of the band and the Pomcats.
