Thayer, Mo. – The Thayer Chamber of Commerce and E-Communications have teamed up again this year for a HUGE fireworks celebration at the Thayer Football field. This will once again be a family-friendly event, complete with kids’ games and various food booths.
What Is Happening?
Thayer is planning an eventful evening, complete with loud fireworks. They have scheduled kids’ games, various food booths, and live bands, including “Wondering” and “Jumping Jacks.” Once again, unless needed elsewhere, Air Evac will be present for a demonstration. Skydivers will fly down at 6:30 p.m.
Where Is This?
This fun takes place at Thayer High School’s football field, located at 401 E. Walnut St, right next to Walmart. There is ample parking for everyone. People can sit in the bleachers or spread out blankets across the lawn. Restrooms are available.
When Is This?
The festivities will take place on Thursday, July 4, 2024. Gates will open at 5:00 p.m., skydivers will arrive at 6:30 p.m., and fireworks will be lit at dark.
Food
Harp’s Grocery will provide free watermelon slices while supplies last. There will be concession stands, too.
Cost?
There is no cost to attend and celebrate our nation’s birthday.
