Twin Pines Conservation Area Hosts Free Family Fishing This Saturday

The Missouri Department of Conservation Twin Pines Conservation Education Center (MDC) (CEC) is hosting a family fish day. This takes place this Saturday, August 21. Registration is recommended as a crowd is expected. The MDC is putting on this event to encourage families to discover nature together.

What Is Happening?

Twin Pines Conservation Education Center in Winona is having a free family fish day. Door prizes, lunch, and free fishing are the hot items of the day. Lunch will consist of hotdogs, chips, cookies, and water.

Twin Pines CEC is hosting this event. This is located off highway 60 in Winona.

When Is This?

This free fishing activity day is Saturday, August 21, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Who Can Attend?

This event is open to people of all ages.  Pre-registration is recommended. One can register here. They have a registration limit of 350 persons, so act quickly.

What Else?

Certain anglers will be honored. This is a catch and release only event. However, no permit is required for this occurrence. Masks are recommended but not required. As in most circumstances, stay home is you are ill.
