While the Fourth of July happened a little over a month ago, it is always good to remember our nation’s independence and of course the fun we had at the festivities. Alton, Thomasville, and Thayer had great celebrations for the 4th of July.
Alton
Alton had food booths which included snow cones and funnel cakes. Bouncy houses and slip n’ slides were also available for the kids.
Thomasville
Thomasville had a new event different from other local 4th of July festivities: a rodeo. There was barrel and pole racing and muttonbusting along with other events. Food booths were also set up for the fireworks.
Thayer
Thayer had their skydivers and Air Evac helicopter land on the football field. The kids and audience enjoyed both activities. Lemonade, live music, and kids activities were also there.
