Alton, Mo. – The Walnut Festival Run is coming up on Friday, October 1, 2021, starting at 5:30 pm at the Alton High School.
The Race
There will be a 5K and a one mile walk/run. The race will start and end at the Alton High School.
Race Times
The one mile run/walk will start at 6:30 pm and the 5K begins at 6:45 pm.
Cost
Students will cost $15.00 and adults will cost $20.00 for either run/walk.
Registration
If you want more information, you can call Marilyn Cockrum at 417-274-3294 or Diana Clary at 417-270-1536. You can also register at the race. The registration starts at 5:30 pm the night of the race.
T-Shirts
If you want a t-shirt guaranteed, you need to register before Friday, September 24, 2021. If you register after September 24th, the registration does not include a t-shirt.
Corn Hole Tournament And Music
That night also, there will be a corn hole tournament. It’s two people to a team. The Redline band will also play music starting at 7:30 pm.
Location Of Profits
All of the profits from the run/walk will go the Alton High School cross country team along with 50% of the profits from the corn hole tournament. The rest of the profit from the corn hole tournament will go to the winner of it.
