The Rover, Missouri, Volunteer Fire Department’s annual turkey shoot is coming up on Sunday, October 22, 2023, at the Rover Gun Club. Anyone is welcome!

The Shoot

There will be six shooting events. The events are Trap & Buddy Trap, 22’s, splatter board, handgun, high-power rifle (no bigger than 30 caliber), and Annie Oakley. [1] Each shooting event costs $3.00.

Concessions

Concessions will also be available at the turkey shoot. Chili cheese dogs, frito pies, and brats are $4.00, while a normal hot dog is $2.00. [2] Hot cocoa, coffee, soda, and water will also be available.

Raffle

Attendees can also enter to win a Ruger 10/22. Tickets are $1 each or $5 for six. Door prizes will also be announced periodically during the event.

Where and When

This will be at the Rover Gun Club on October 22, 2023, starting at noon. The gun club is located east of West Plains on M Highway, 1.7 miles south of the U.S. 160 intersection.
