Local farmers in Oregon County, Missouri are ready to harvest. Booth space has been reserved. Production is underway. Sellers are ready to accept orders. Is there a scent of freshness in the air? Here is when and where you need to be.
When Is The Market Open?
The Oregon County Farmer’s Market is open Saturdays, May through October. Opening day this year for the market is Saturday, May 7, 2022. Booths are set up between 9:00am and noon, although some booths may remain open until 1:00pm.
Where Is The Market?
The Oregon County Farmer’s Market is located at Tucker Creek Park. This park is located off Tucker Creek Road, on the south end of Alton, off Highway 19. While the front of the park has a playground, swimming pool, and tennis courts, the back field near the walking path is where the booths are set up. The field has ample parking for many vehicles and there is a working rest room available.
What Sells?
In previous years, the Oregon County Farmer’s Market has sold a variety of items. Fresh produce is a given. Then, vendors sold plants, towels, meat and eggs, besides furniture. Come early to see all the the vendors have for you.
