Thomasville, Mo. – The Thomasville Christmas Bazaar was held on Saturday, November 20, 2021, between 8:00 am and 2:00 pm at the Thomasville Community Center. There were artificial Christmas trees, Christmas dishes, ornaments, pillows, blankets, jewelry, a bake sale and a lot of other fun things. Over seventy-five people came to do some Christmas shopping at the bazaar.
Christmas Trees
At the bazaar, there were artificial Christmas trees ranging from one foot to seven feet. The seven foot ones were around $50.00. They also had a live 6-inch Christmas tree in a pot.
Pillows/Blankets
There were fuzzy blankets for you to take home and snuggle with. They also had pillows you could buy as well.
Dishes
Complete sets of dishes were available to buy as well. They’re were Christmas ones, ones with wreaths around the edges, and blue ones.
Pictures
Along with the other items, there were beautiful pictures. There were some of horses, birds, and eagles. These aesthetically pleasing pictures were $20.00 each.
Books
If you are a reader, they had books at the bazaar too. The books were in groups of about five and you could buy them for $1.00. There were also some kiddie books.
Bake Sale And Chili
A bake sale and chili sale were going on at the kitchen of the community center. A slice of any of the desserts, including pudding pies, was $3.00. A raisin fried pie was $2.00. A bowl full of chili was perfect for all the shoppers to eat to warm themselves.
Raffle
If the shoppers wanted to try to win something, they entered to win a crossbow and a raffle.
Jewelry
Pretty bracelets and necklaces of all sizes and colors were ready to be bought as a Christmas present for someone.
Ornaments And Cups
Bags full of ornaments were available for the shoppers to buy for their Christmas tree. Cups were also ready to be bought for hot cocoa.
