West Plains, Mo.- The Heart of the Ozarks Fair is still going on in West Plains, Missouri. The AltonMo.com field team went and interviewed the rabbit and poultry show entrants on June 8, 2024.
Interviews
Multiple questions pertaining to the animals were asked. One of the questions was what animal would be the worst to show. Some of the animals named included steers, bunnies, and sheep. Another question asked was what animal they were showing and if the animal had a name. Almost all the animals had names. There were several bunnies and chickens being shown, along with a duck.
Fair
Tonight, June 8th, is the last day of the Heart of the Ozarks Fair. The rides start at 6:00 pm. The gate fee is $10 per person unless you’re under 12, than the cost is $5. Kids under 6 can go in free. A demolition derby will start at 7:00 pm. [1]
