Thomasville, Mo. – The Thomasville Fire Department held their 5K and 1-mile walk/run on Saturday, June 3, 2023, in downtown Thomasville. Around 40 contestants participated.
Run
It was an even split between the 5K runners and the 1-mile walkers. The winner of the 5K had a time of 20:23 and was ahead of the next runner by a good length.
Breakfast
Breakfast was served to all the participants and the community. The breakfast included biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausages, and your choice of drink of lemonade and orange juice.
Silent Auction
During breakfast, the participants could place their bids on a number of items, including a barbecue set, t-shirts, fishing tackle, and bakery items.
