Charity begins at home. A church in Saint Louis is trying to demonstrate just that. On any given day in our state’s Capitol, corners are vying for attention via numerous choices of attention seekers. Some are beneficial to the state; others are not. The STL Restoration Chruch is a beneficial one.
Who Are They?
STL Restoration Church has the motto of “saving the lost at any cost”. They offer Christian homes for men and women who are looking for a change, a real-life change. They are offering help in deliverance from drugs, alcohol, prostitution, depression, and gang violence. The “want to” needs to be there. Once it is, one often has trouble breaking addictions that have spiraled a life down a wrong path. To turn the direction around, assistance and encouragement and much patience are necessary.
Up at the Capitol, men and women whose lives have been changed were on the corners passing out flyers. These flyers made the public aware of their ministry. Later in the week, theses same individuals went to the darker side of town to offer help to those who would take it. No one can argue against a life changed.
