Each quarter HSLDA (Home School Legal Defense Association) has a contest for homeschooled students. This organization switches between writing contests and art contests. This photo contest just opened. Here are the details.
Who Can Enter?
This contest is opened to all homeschooled students ages 7-19. You need not be a member of HSLDA to enter. A student may enter up to three photos.
When Is The Contest Open?
This photo contest is open from June 1, 20222, through August 1, 2022.
What Are The Categories?
The judging will be divided into three age groups with three themes. They are judged by their age, not their grade.
Category 1 is for ages 7-10. Each entrant should be about something ‘hidden’.
Category 2 is open to ages 11-14. Their theme is ‘In your face’.
And category 6 is open to ages 15-19 with a theme of nostalgic.

Cost?
The contest does have a cost of $10 per entry for HSLDA members and $15 for non-members. This monies collected support their charitable programs of helping struggling homeschool families financially.Â
Prizes?
Yes, there are monetary prizes for the top four winners of each category.
