Democratic Socialism is taking the stage here in America. But is Democratic Socialism any different than regular socialism? Does socialism work, democratic or not? If capitalism is free enterprise and voluntarily trading something for something then what does that make socialism? In this short video Steven Crowder breaks down democratic socialism and why, in the end, socialism doesn’t work.
Makers and Takers
There are two types of people in the world, the makers and the takers. Human nature will pull some people toward success and a work ethic and pull others toward laziness and pulling others into their collected group. The tension between these makers and takers will always lead to socialisms collapse. Currently, as long as the minority are the ones who have their things taken away from them and given to the majority the popular vote will continue to say that this is “right.”
