1) Are you aware that many schoolchildren cannot read or write cursive? What would you do to solve this problem?
Local school boards need to be making those decisions. However, legislators could express their concerns to DESE, who could work with school boards.
2) Do you believe that self-defense is a right?  Why?  Should there be any limitations?Â
Absolutely, but the defense needs to be reasonable to address the offense.
3). In light of the Bill of Rights, how do you propose supporting our freedoms and rights that are enumerated?Â
Those amendments were so important to our founding fathers; they were included in our Constitution and they are just as important today.
4) As illegal persons come to Missouri, do you see their presence as a help or a hindrance?  What will they do to our economy?
Hindrance! They will be an additional burden on our taxpayers and will take away benefits from Missourians.
5) What is the biggest problem facing Missourians / Americans?Â
The state of decline of our nation’s integrity, values, and beliefs!
6) The traditional family consists of a father, mother, and children. Is this type of family good for our culture?
Yes! It is a fundamental need for a healthy society and culture.
7)Â What are the most pressing needs for infrastructure or capital projects in the state?Â
Better rural highways and bridges and upgrades to our water/sewer systems.
8) How would you protect Oregon County from big government interference? Tax manipulation?
Assessing taxes on government and owned properties at a fair rate with the realization that privately owned properties are generating much more revenue.
9) What laws would you like to see passed or repealed in your term?Â
Initiative Petition Reform Bill passed immediately and strengthen laws to immediately deport illegal immigrants from Missouri.
10)Â What is your greatest accomplishment you want voters to know about?
As a single dad, I raised my daughter for 18 years into a Godly, productive citizen in our community in whom I’m extremely proud of!
11)Â Can you give a short bio on why you chose to run for office?Â
Considering the deterioration of values in our nation, I feel we can no longer sit aside and watch this play out. We must engage and fight for our freedoms and rural values!
