Living Wage VS. Minimum Wage
Jack Bates stated that there is a difference between the minimum wage and a living wage. The minimum wage is that everyone should make this amount. Mr. Bates said that a living wage is a calculated way that says in order to own a home or a car, that’s how much money you need to make.
Bates Says We Need Workforce
Jack Bates finished up by saying that to help Oregon County get back on the map, they need an educated workforce.
