At the last Alton, Missouri, school board meeting on March 9, 2023, the board members brought up the upcoming tax levy, which will be voted on Tuesday, April 4, 2023.

Money Per Year

The levy would add $0.10 per $100 on property tax per year for five years to the school tax.

Permanent Fix

If passed, the tax levy would rise for the five years and then stop, but it would be permanent after that fifth year.

The School

If the tax levy were to pass, the school would use it in various ways. One way they would use it is to have a shop class again.

Calculation
