Brian Kolfage Jr. (USAF RETIRED) is a veteran who served his country and was a triple amputee from wounds suffered in Iraq. Kolfage started a go fund me (GoFundMe.com) page called TheTrumpWall that aims to finance the proposed wall across the southern border of the United States with Mexico.
I have grandparents who immigrated to America legally, they did it the correct way and it’s time we uphold our laws, and get this wall BUILT!It’s up to Americans to help out and pitch in to get this project rolling.– Brian Kolfage Jr.
Border Wall Fund Details
The GoFundMe site is showing over $19 Million as of January 5, 2019, with a goal of reaching $1.0 Billion. Kolfage brings up the fact that if everyone who voted for Trump donated $80 that would come close to the $5 Billion Trump is asking for now.
The collected funds will be sent to a “secure a point of contact where all the funds will go upon completion.” Kolfage wrote. He also pointed out that, “We have many very high-level contacts already helping.”
Kofage also brought up the fact that he needs 100 million signatures for a petition that shows over 3.5 million as of this afternoon. You can sign the petition at https://wefundthewall.com/.
Promises, Promises
Trump ran on the border wall during his election campaign in 2016. He made a ton of promises, but legislatively, even when the Republicans controlled both houses of Congress, he has not been able to get any legislation concerning the wall or immigration passed.
The pressure is mounting for Trump to cave on his demands for wall funding. The Democrats are screaming impeachment. All this and, from all appearances, his party does not want to stem the flow of illegal immigration either.
Democrats want a permanent underclass that reliably votes Democrat. Republicans want cheap labor to keep their Chamber of Commerce donors happy. Neither party acknowledges any negative consequences of the current open borders policy, allowing far more than voters and workers to enter our country [1].
Politicians- Do Your Job
But Americans are getting tired of the possibility of their children succumbing to diseases that have been all but wiped out here in America– disease brought here by illegal immigrants who do not have any concern for American family’s but only want, selfishly, to diminish their suffering at the expense of others. Don’t get me wrong, I can sympathize with some of the stories of illegal immigrants, but we have laws here to protect Americans.
Laws are instituted among men because someone, somewhere actually caused harm or hardship to others. That harmful action caused enough citizens to band together and passed laws to stop the harmful activity. When aliens cross the border illegally, they are thumbing their collective nose at us and putting themselves above the laws of America. If that is the first action of any person coming to this country, what other laws will they decide they don’t have to obey?
Americans are concerned, and rightly so, about repeat criminals who are here in America illegally and are arrested and convicted of rape and murder. Over and over the headlines contain stories of drunk drivers killing others and damaging property, Medicaid fraud among other crimes and misdemeanors- the list is long.
Don’t Forget the Terrorists
And then there’s the issue of organized terrorism focusing their efforts on a porous southern border into the underbelly of the United States from where they can migrate into areas across the United States and develop terror cells.
Like Kolfage says, “This won’t be easy, but it’s our duty as citizens. This needs to be shared every single day by each of you on social media. We can do it, and we can help President Trump make America safe again!”
