The last two years have seen a lot of talk about health care and who controls it. President Biden does not seem to be committed to moving forward from the pandemic despite most of the world having done so. Congress- yes, both the senators and the representatives- argreed to end the pandemic in the US formally. Basically, they want all emergency powers to be revoked. However, the executive branch has refused to sign the bill until May, even though most states have already passed similar measures.
Why May? Does a specific date mark the end of virus germs? Are that many Americans still dying from the disease that we need to be in a tow year state of emergency? How can illegals come across the southern border without being tested for diseases if it is so deadly?
May?
Biden and May hold the key to the answer. In Geneva, Switzerland, the Biden administration hopes to change the rules of the World Health Organization’s International Health Regulations this coming May. He wants the World Health Organization to have complete control over our health care.
Congress Response
In response, Republican Senators Kevin Cramer of North Dakota and Jim Risch of Idaho introduced a resolution ensuring that President Joe Biden does not cede U.S. sovereignty to entities like the World Health Organization by ratifying global pandemic agreements without Senate approval. Others who approve of the resolution can be found here.
