On Monday Missouri employees pitched some ideas to make Missouri better in a “Shark Tank” scenario type of way. This was the first ever Show Me Challenge competition and employees across 16 of Missouri’s executive departments teamed up to bring solutions to Missouri.
Show Me Challenge
On January 28th nearly 90 teams from across the state of Missouri pitched their ideas to state leaders. The ideas ranged from making getting a drivers license easier to increasing fitness opportunities to Missouri employees.
“The Show Me Challenge,” said Drew Erdmann, State of Missouri Chief Operating Officer “is a new way for state employees to pitch innovative, grassroots solutions to make Missouri state government work better not only for the citizens we serve but also for the employees doing the work.” [1]
