Governor Mike Parson of Missouri declared February 18-25, 2023, National FFA Week in Missouri. During the week, specifically on February 22nd, it was “Drive Your Tractor to Work Day.” Governor Parson supported this by driving a tractor to the capitol.
FFA Week
Future Farmers of America (FFA) encourages students to farm and improve agriculture. Governor Parson said, “ [1]Missouri’s agriculture industry depends on our young people taking the lead…” Over a hundred FFA members were at the capitol for the week.
Drive Your Tractor
On February 22nd, it was “Drive Your Tractor to Work Day.” For the fifth year in a row, Governor Parson drove a John Deere tractor to the capitol. Lieutenant Governor Mike Kehoe also joined in on the fun and drove a tractor to the capitol as well.
