Alton, Mo. – Alton First Baptist Church held a candlelight Christmas Eve service on Sunday, December 24, 2023. Many people from the community attended this reverential service commemorating the birth of Christ.
Performers
Musicians came from out of town to make the evening memorable. From Thayer, Clara Keller played her harp beautifully, as usual, gracing the evening in thoughts.
Musicians Molly Clair Corman and Wyatt Bishop graced the evening with stringed music and singing.
Young Zander Ross read a Christmas entry while Clara played her harp in the background.
Candles
The service ended with the congregation lighting their candles and singing Silent Night.
Finger foods followed the service to all who attended.
The church is located on Highway 19 on the south end of town, right in front of Tucker Creek Park.
