Alton, Mo. – As we approach the holiday season, many of us think of family and traditions. Church services are one of the most popular Christmas traditions. People do not want to forego their Christmas family time to attend church this year, even though it is on Sunday. A Christmas Eve service is the solution offered by the First Baptist Church of Alton.
When Is The Service?
This service is actually scheduled for Christmas Eve Eve, December 23. It begins at 6:00 pm.
Where Is This Service?
This is at Alton First Baptist Church, located on Highway 19, south of town, in front of the swimming pool.
What Is Happening?
This is expected to be a beautiful candlelight service. Last year’s service hosted the harpist, Clara Keller. She will return this year for fascinating music of the season. Adding to the musicians of the evening, Faith Collins will play the violin.
All members of the community are invited to attend the service. Please join us, even if you are not a regular churchgoer. It’s Christmas time. Celebrate Jesus’ birth.
