Shilo Baptist Church in Rover is celebrating Resurrection Day, and they are inviting the public to celebrate, also. The day begins early but moves along quickly. Here is what is happening.
Sunrise Service
Shilo is celebrating with a sunrise service. As the women came to the tomb many years ago seeking the body of Christ, they found an empty tomb. He has risen! Likewise, this church celebrates the resurrection of Christ at the break of day, at 6:30 am.
Food
After worshipping at that early hour, the church provides breakfast. Breakfast begins at 7:00 am.
Sunday School And Worship Service
After eating, Sunday School commences at 8:00 am and Worship at 9:00 am.
Egg Hunt
After the morning worship service, the church planned an egg hunt. This begins at 10:00 am.
Details
Everyone can come to any or all of these events. Children through the elderly are welcome. There is no charge to attend. This is all FREE!
Shilo Baptist Church wants to worship with those in the community who may not otherwise have a church home.
