In Thayer, Missouri, area students are welcome and encouraged to sign up for Club Focus Volleyball with tryouts being held Sunday, November 12, 2023.
Grades
Any students between third and twelfth grade can participate in the Club Focus Volleyball. This is not limited to Thayer students. Other students from area schools or homeschoolers are welcome to try out.
Tryouts
Tryouts will be on November 11, 2023, at the Thayer Elementary Gym. For grades third through sixth, tryouts will be between 3:00 pm and 4:00 pm; grades seventh through eighth will be between 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm; and grades ninth through twelfth will be between 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm.
Cost
The membership costs $250. It covers coaches, practices, tournaments, and jerseys. If players and coaches agree on more tournaments, the cost will increase. The HOA membership is not included in the $250; the HOA cost is $55 [1]
Teams
Team sizes may be adjusted depending on the amount of coaches. Due to limited space and other team practices, practices may not be what you would think.
School Sports
For those who play high school basketball, your tournaments will start after the season is over.
