Couch, Mo. –The Couch High School and Thayer High School boys basketball teams have advanced to their respective district championship games.
Couch
The Couch Indians’ send-off started at 11:00 am. A police car and firetruck escorted them down Highway 142. Over a dozen cars joined the bus driving over to Bradleyville for the game.

Thayer
Having been in numerous district championship games, Thayer didn’t have a send-off. The basketball team left at 12:45 pm for their championship game in Houston.

Both games will start at 3:00 pm, with the Couch Indians facing the Chadwick Cardinals and the Thayer Bobcats facing the Liberty Eagles.
