Couch, Mo. –On Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at the Couch High School, the Couch Indians, Koshkonong Blue Jays, Bakersfield Lions, and Doniphan Donettes volleyball teams competed against each other in the volleyball jamboree.
Doniphan V. Kosh
The third set of games played at the jamboree was the Doniphan Donettes versus the Koshkonong Blue Jays. In the first set, the score was just three points apart with the final score being 15-12 and Doniphan taking the win. During the second set, Koshkonong lost her rhythm losing 5-15. Doniphan managed to win the third set 15-9.
Doniphan V. Bakersfield
The Donettes played back to back games with their second game against the Bakersfield Lions. The game was tight between the two teams, but Bakersfield managed to win the second and third sets 16-14.
Couch V. Bakersfield
The last game of the night was between the Couch Indians and Bakersfield Lions. All the sets were close. In the first set, Bakersfield took the win 15-10. Couch managed to shorten the gap between the two teams in the second set, but still lost 15-13. In the last set, Couch had the momentum going and won 15-12.
