According to online statistics, this is the Cardinals’ worst attendance in over twenty years, excluding the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic. The Cards are 6th overall in attendance in MLB this season. Some reasons for this stem from teams going Woke. Viewers turned off their televisions and chose high school or collegiate teams to watch. They are less political.
Area restaurants that serve during the games have seen a downtick in customers. However, they will be busy if the Cardinals make it into the playoff race.
