The Oregon County Alumni Showdown will be at the Couch High School on Saturday, March 29, 2025, starting at 10:00 am.
The Teams
There will be eight teams in total: four women’s teams and four men’s teams. The teams will be representing the Couch, Alton, Thayer, and Koshkonong high schools.
Trophy
The winning teams for both the men and women will get to display a trophy at their school until the next Oregon County Showdown. [1]
Food
From 5-7 pm, there will be a fish fry fundraiser. The fish fry is sponsored by the Fraley family as well as the Southern Bank of Alton. [2]Concessions will be available throughout the games.
Cost
The cost is $4 for adults and $2 for students.
Proceeds
All the proceeds from the game and fish fry will go to the Couch senior class for their senior trip. [3]
Who Can Come
Anyone can join in the fun to watch some good basketball games.
