Thayer, Mo. – The Thayer Bobcats went up against the Ava Bears on Friday, October 7, 2022, at 7:00 pm at Louis Bozman Field in Thayer. Unfortunately, the Bobcats lost 43-8.
Good Start
The Bobcats had a good start in the beginning getting a touchdown quickly. Thayer also got a safety when the Bears went back into the red zone.
Bears Score
After the Bobcats scored, the Bears scored continually throughout the rest of the game. Both Rylin Dickson (#5 for Ava) and Grady Goss (#22 for Ava) got two touchdowns each. The final score was 43-8, with the Bears winning.
Food
The temperature was down around sixty, so it was a perfect evening for some hot food. The Thayer Freewill Baptist Church was giving out vegetable soup, taco soup, and potato soup.
Band
The Thayer Bobcats Pride Band entertained the crowd with music and flag girls throughout halftime.
