In case you have nothing else to do, or you just feel like supporting your local high school basketball teams, here are the games happening this week, February 8-6, 2021.
Alton Comets
Here are the basketball games for both the Alton Comets girls’ and boys’ junior varsity and varsity for this week.
JV And Varsity Girls
For the junior varsity and varsity girls games, the Alton Comets will take on the Thayer Bobcats on Monday, February 8, at 6:00 pm, at the Thayer High School*. [1]
The next game will be on Friday, February 12, versus the Van Buren Bulldogs at the Alton High School at 5:00 pm.
JV and Varsity Boys
The junior varsity and varsity boys will go up against the Bakersfield Lions on February 9, at 6:00 pm, at the Bakersfield High School. You will need a ticket for the game which each of the players has 3 tickets to give out. [2]
The next game will be against the Van Buren Bulldogs on February 12.
The junior varsity boys will also go up against the Willow Springs Bears at 10:00 am and then they will play the Dora Falcons at 11:15 am. Both games will be on Saturday, February 13, 2021, at the Willow Springs High School. [3]
Thayer Bobcats
Here are the basketball games for both the Thayer Bobcats girls’ and boys’ junior varsity and varsity for this week.
Girls Games
The junior varsity and varsity girls will go up against the Alton Comets at the Thayer High School on February 8, at 6:00 pm*. [4]
The next game will be against the Licking Wildcats at the Licking High School on February 11, at 6:00 pm. [5]
Boys Games
Both the varsity and junior varsity boys will go up against the Ava Bears on February 9, at 6:00 pm, at the Thayer High School [6]
The next game will be on February 12 at 6:00 pm against the Liberty (Mtn. View) Eagles at the Liberty High School. [7]
* means it is postponed and is affected by the weather day-to-day [8]
